(51,797 posts)Utter journalistic malpractice at best. They have become complicit in perpetrating a fraud on the American public.

(7,142 posts)Why single out the USA Today? All of the corporate M$M is complicit.
Jesus, the NY Times, and sweet Judy Miller, printed a Dick Cheney mushroom cloud article as if it were her article. That was a big impetus that pushed us into the Iraq war.
The M$M is owned by corporate big wigs who don't give a shit about pre-existing conditions for little people, they have Cadillac health care plans that pays for everything.

(15,326 posts)In fact, this is the first time I've noticed USA Today in particular called out, while The New York Times is constantly called out, especially here. The NYT is notorious. Your defense of USA Today is bizarre. Are people not supposed to call out news orgs?

(23,191 posts)I've been doing this for years. When I go to a hotel I ask them their options for papers and always pick something other than that RW rag. If that's all they deliver, I tell them do not leave one by my room, it offends me.

(21,713 posts)You know: Days Inn, Best Western, etc.
When old man Bush was in office, it was how "quickly the economy was recovering" (all evidence to the contrary); then during the Clinton years it was always about some scandal, or supposed "friction" in the White House; with Dubya it was always something portraying him (and of course the wars) as "heroic" in some way; and Obama, about how "hapless" he was.

(638 posts)With all the real issues going on in the world and what 45 has done and lied about thus far, giving him a free chance to publish said lies is reprehensible.

(6,994 posts)it along with several/maybe a hundred... other newspapers like the Indy Star,Ft. Wayne Journal Gazette are nothing more than Fox News in print.
Example we just had a debate between Joe Donnelly and Braun in Fort Wayne and the papers published the exact opposite of how the debate went giving credit to Mike Braun the weasel Republican
So with Faux News this is what liberals are up against and they have been our rivals for years.
