Chuck Grassley says women won't serve on Senate Judiciary Committee because it's 'a lot of work'

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) told a veteran female reporter that there aren’t more women on his committees because it’s “a lot of work.”

“It’s a lot of work,” Grassley told NBC’s Andrea Mitchell. “I mean don’t forget compared to a lot of committee meetings, we have an executive (session) for every Thursday … so it’s a lot of work.”

Republican senators Cindy Hyde-Smith and Deb Fischer are running for reelection, and will probably win. But how nice for voters of their states to learn they're both too lazy to take one of the important jobs.

Of the final 2 of 6 lazy women this insult was aimed at, if Joni Ernst was irritated into castrating that stupid hog, that'd be fine with me. WV's Shelley Moore Capito is, interestingly, a grad of the same high school Ford attended. Btw, tuition this year is $43K, but that includes breakfast and lunch. A pittance for parents dreaming of someday having a lazy female senator in the family.
