Blackout tomorrow

Tomorrow, female blackout from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Its a movement to show what the world might be like without women. Your profile photo should just be a black square so that men wonder where the women are. Pass it only to women ... It's for a project against domestic abuse. It is no joke. Share it.

it would be more noticeable.. blacking out a photo won't bother abusers even a tiny bit...

you see,

THEY DON'T GIVE A SHIT...AND THEY FEEL ENTITLED TO DO WHAT THEY WANT BECAUSE THEY USUALLY GET AWAY WITH IT

I seem to recall demonstrations where latinos stayed home from work.

"A day without Mexicans" ????

They tried a purchasing boycott on Women's Day about 1 1/2 years ago but no one did it. Women need to show their power in every way possible. If the powers that be thrive on money...don't spend a cent! If we stopped working that would show them that they need women for the US to function. Maybe a sex strike is called for as well ( out of curiousity I wonder what that would do)?

Many did not like the idea of silencing women through images or I guess the lack thereof.

This is simply one of those chain letters that try to "raise awareness" without any action or results.
