Theres one thing I can say about the xenophobic, racist, sexist Trump train: Its never late. Speaking for the first time since Christine Blasey Fords claim that Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her when they were both in high school, President Trump expressed his sympathy and regret and condolences...
For Kavanaugh.

He also refused to call Blasey Ford by her name referring to her as that woman.
Yes, its dehumanizing for the president of the United States not to say Blasey Fords name. Yes, its embarrassing and disgusting for the president of the United States to continue to behave like a knuckle-dragging caveman on an international stage. Yes, its historically accurate for a man whos admitted to sexually assaulting women in the past, to sympathize with the accused and not the accuser.

So now Blasey Ford has to decide if she wants to sit before members of Congress to be grilled about what was arguably the worst day of her life and the president doesnt even have the decency to say her damn name...
Exactly like we thought he would.

(22,191 posts)short answer is NO, obviously not. You had other reasons to select Kav, but you didn't provide the true reason why you selected this guy to the next supreme court justice. I suspect you picked him solely to cover your ass should it need covering.
Pathetic and a job poorly done. There are lots of highly qualified candidates and this is who you picked?
Exactly.

(11,597 posts)Trump is feeling the heat from the Mueller investigation. Kavanaugh on SCOTUS would be his ace in the hole.
