Knowing how much everyone hates Ryan means that there's going to be a pile-on giving Romney some breathing room for a change. My only question is why would Ryan agree to it?

(30,439 posts)Not only will he continue to have his problems with his tax returns, but he now totally owns the Ryan budget.
Obama is smiling like a cheshire cat right now.

They lose, and he runs in 2016 in an open election, but he's got credibility and practice on the national stage
the only loser in each scenario is Romney..
He got "McCained". He's such an unlikable candidate and the base loathes him so much, the "suits" may have stepped in & given him the male version of Sarah, to add excitement that will NEVER materialize for Romney.
They also know that the "fix is in" in FL, PA, OH and probably CO too, so a tweak here and there, and Romney can squeak by. There is enough "cover" brought on by the deliberate chaos they have created, and the media still wants this to be "oh-so-close", so we have the "perfect storm".
The extra excitement that Ryan brings, could be just the cherry on top to explain away another stolen election ..
