Barbara Underwood, NY Attorney General, delivers a powerful message. Do not despair.

I hope you can hear her words yourself. The quote below is just part of them.

She pinned this to the top of her Twitter page today.

This is a particularly challenging time for New York and for our country.

It sometimes feels as if we’re losing our shared sense of America and nothing can be done about it.

I am here to tell you that we can do something about it.

We are doing something about it.

Even though there are some decent people among them, they pretty much all vote along their party line, no matter how they personally feel.

for the past decade or 2 the Trump Org might have been brought down and we would not be where we are.

but her words do make me feel better. and she does have a certain personal historical perspective .

..It may just be that she has little interest in politics.

She was formerly the Solicitor General of NY; I don't know if she'll return there or not. Cuomo had appointed her in 2011 when he was AG and then Schneiderman reappointed her.

I had no idea what to expect with Underwood since she was supposedly not running again. However, she has been awesome, exceeding my expectations by a HUGE amount.

(Nothing against Underwood, I had expected anybody coming in to just be a caretaker through the November elections)

I assume she'll still remain with that office, once a new AG is elected, however. Hopefully, the people of New York will elect someone equally worthy of that job.
