Moved back up to Indiana to be closer to family, so at least I can vote for Joe Donnelly and help out in a swing election.

They throw out a high percentage of votes based on comparison to your signature on record. You might get a notification if you send it in early enough to "correct" it, but from what I've seen that isn't likely.

This is the first time I voted absentee in this state.

I was very careful with my signature because I notice they are always sticklers about it at the polling sites. Occasionally I have been asked to sign again.

a case where the judges ruled against them for that practice. Doesn't seem to have done much good. After the ruling my son's last primary absentee was tossed out by the canvassing board for signature match. I had my signature for the felon rights restoration petition thrown out too for the same reason.

Today when I voted they had me sign on an electronic device which is impossible to match, so they don't seem to care about that too much when in person with your mandatory ID. Trouble is to get the ID you have to have an arsenal of documents...thanks Rick Scott.

The party better start getting people in the streets on the voter suppression, going to court does nothing it seems.

But I do not think he has a chance in the General whereas I think Graham can win. I like them both. But I vote strategically. And I think neither would beat Putnam.

Graham’s name and ability proven ability to beat republicans are not valueless. And she is great on the issues. But the voters will decide.

My fear is that if we elect Gillum it will be a case of choosing the perfect over the good in the primary and ending up with nothing in the end. Hope I am wrong.

And the republicans will tie socialist Bernie around his neck like a dead chicken. Florida is not Vermont. Hard left candidates cannot win. In my opinion. Hope I am wrong. We shall see.

It is a risk Republicans have been making for a decade or so, with some spectacular failures like Sharron Angle in Nevada but it also produced many wing nuts in the senate and obviously in the White House
