When will we see Romney's VP Announcement? The closer it gets to 5pm (EST) The more I'm

4. had a weird feeling suddenly that it will be Christie.

I've been thinking Portman all along, or Rubio (if they thought they could hide his disastrous skeletons in the closet.)

But then.. suddenly I thought "Christie" Not sure why... wasn't a conscious thought, more of a feeling. Though, it's plausible that he'd choose him as an attack dog. One of Biden's strengths being chosen was that very reason.

but he does need a boost right now so I wouldn't be surprised to see the announcement next week.

Why dump this on a Friday? Doesn't make sense to me unless he wants more attention on this for the Sunday morning shows and hopes it will carry over as the main topic of conversation next week.

The Olympics wrap up this weekend. If he's smart he'll wait. But, we all know how inept his campaign is so maybe you're right.

7. I remember hearing Rachel or Thom saying the Romney campaign had made plans to annouce

way before the convention and considering all the bad press this week I would think they would want the story for the Sunday shows instead a rehash of the crappy week.


Maybe I mis-understood but I thought it was happening this weekend due to that Special 4 day bus tour Romney started on yesterday.

All Rmoney needs to win is a total collapse of the world economy. I'm sure the 1% are working on that as we type/read.



No other candidate has a shot. Anyone else would be seen as illegitimate and the swing voters would reject him/her.

used to annouce the VP. I've heard Rachel and Thom say that Romney wanted to name VP before the convention.

I'm thinking that he is going to annouce the VP get people excited for the convention at least the base.
