The New Sheriff in Town

He was a Republican before he switched to an Independent. The reason he switched was because of his high respect for Senator John McCain.

He thought about changing registration to the Democratic Party? But, after much thought, he decided the Independent route was the best way for him to go.

He informed his fellow Republicans and his Majority Leader that he would indeed, be sometimes voting with the other side. He told them, "If you want to know how I'm voting, you will need to come and ask me?"

The Republican Party attempted to put thru a Supreme Court appointment and he told them that he may vote against him? He left it hanging in the air like a hippopotamus fart.

He was the new Sheriff in Town.

Unfortunately, he was fiction.

It does sound like a Republican one can actually respect - and indeed, therefore fiction.
