Need an uplift? DO SOMETHING. I can't demonstrate for longer than an hour because of my illness

but this morning, there were protesters outside our local ICE.

They had been there all night.

since I can't join them, I took them water.

It felt good to actually be participating.

Not everyone can spend hours demonstrating but there are little things that one can do to be a part of it.

It was a small $3.00 thing but that thing felt so good! It was also needed and well received.

it is not feasible for me to be there for more than an hour or so.

I have done that-march then go home-then go back but I lose so much by doing that.

I decided that from this point on, I will take water, sports drinks, or what ever else I can take to help them keep from overheating and provide a little comfort.

I have another 3 cases of water in my jeep waiting for the next time. And we know there will be a next time.
