Consumers will pay more, however I am ok with that.

It is unfair to local businesses and retailers that often people seek them out for advice and to test items only to walk away paying nothing for that information and purchasing online from an out of state vender to save sales tax.

They already collect state taxes if they have a location in the state the item is being shipped to.

Smaller venders might need to purchase software to collect and disperse state taxes.

This was a correct ruling IMO.

I favor paying state taxes to support roads, bridges, fire, police, schools clean water etc. In Michigan, sales taxes are what funds schools and teachers.

For those of us with small businesses who depend on our websites for online sales and phone calls generated from our sites, this is a bit of good news. Not so great when I have to shop online but it does even the playing field a little.
