I've never been anywhere in the world that I couldn't at least somewhat communicate. Even so, I've felt real anxiety sometimes in those situations. I can't imagine what it must be like to not be able to communicate, everywhere you look you can't understand or read anything, all the conversation around you is unintelligible...coupled with being a child, all alone.
