Canadian parliament condemns Trump attacks on Trudeau

BY MORGAN GSTALTER - 06/12/18 08:34 AM EDT

Canada’s House of Commons on Monday unanimously condemned President Trump and his aides on for attacks targeting the country’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Lawmakers approved a motion that rejected “disparaging ad hominem statements by U.S. officials which do a disservice to bilateral relations,” Reuters reported.

The symbolic move came after Peter Navarro, the White House National Trade Council director said there is a “special place in hell” for any leader who engages in bad faith diplomacy with Trump.

A number of other Trump officials and the president himself also lashed out at the Canadian prime minister following the Group of Seven (G-7) summit in Canada last weekend.

1/3 of our fellow citizens danced around the bonfire roasting their rhetorical marshmallows while the MSM tried desperately to find some kind of a horse race equivalence angle.

our reputation in the world is now "people who would elect Trump and tolerate him running their country." i'm afraid that ship has sailed.

now we're playing for an opportunity to avoid a fall into full-blown fascism. we must vote like our democracy depends on it.

can ever trust the US again.

They will know that we are always only 4 years away from another fascist monster like Dump taking over and destroying all treaties and agreements.

I'm freaked out by the loss of our reputation in the world; I'm all the more freaked out by the spectre of what's before us. It's immediate, and it's existential.

especially all this underhanded stuff of throwing people off the voter rolls. This is serious stuff, each day they are chipping away at our liberties.

The republicans are going to pay a hefty price for their treasonous ways. Yes, I am really upset.
