Makes sense.
Religion was chosen for me when I was baptized in to the faith when I was a baby.
I was enamored by different faiths by the age of 12 and had to take my morals from multiple sources.
I found that the code of morals and ethics I go by is very strict, though I try not to judge others by my own standards. It is a trial, but that is how it goes.
I never got rid of the religion I was born in, I just decided to believe differently and adhere to my own code.
There is no point in dealing with a drama of renouncing a religion. It just faded in importance. I don't see the point in formally adopting any other religion. I just take aspects of it and incorporate it with my core.

(59 posts)did the whole school thing too. After my mother's death I became more spiritual than religious. I have upset the family, but too many life changing events have happened to me and now I believe spiritually. (if that makes sense)
