I was asked to sign up to handle some gardening questions, but never did participate - now I keep getting emails listing some of the most recent questions being asked. If that sampling is indicative of what is "going on" out there intellectually, we are in even more trouble that I thought (and I've become pretty cynical).
Now I just need to find a way to get the hell off of it so the flow of ignorance into my email inbox ends!
Happy Sunday morning from the beautiful Outer Banks of NC!

(175,733 posts)There are some brilliant putdowns of the stupid questioners. DU's rasputin1952 sometimes answers military questions there.

(22,920 posts)in the last couple of years very right/white-wing Trumpian questions posed. Prior to that, I saw rational discourse that I was interested in. Maybe my list of interests drove what I saw, but my interests haven't changed yet the tone of the questions and ensuing discourse sure has.
Jealous about the Outer Banks though. Enjoy!
