2. James Shaw Jr. isn't going to hear from Spanky.

Kanye West gets thanks (even though he's black) because, for reasons known only to him, he likes Trump and has said so in public. Mr. Shaw is just a black guy who, unarmed, managed to take a gun away from a white guy who was shooting black people. He's already been given a hard time by the NRA because he didn't have a gun and, according to them, could have done a better job if he'd had one. Spanky doesn't like to acknowledge (1) any black person who hasn't expressly said they adore him; (2) anybody who was able to overpower a white guy with a gun without using one himself; or (3) anybody about whom the NRA has commented unfavorably.
