Just heard the Campaign was sued by the Obstructionist Democrats. This can be good news in that we will now counter for the DNC Server that they refused to give to the FBI, the Wendy Wasserman Schultz Servers and Documents held by the Pakistani mystery man and Clinton Emails.

He's the best.
Or not.
ProudLib72
(17,984 posts)I should have phrased that more clearly. He doesn't have a "real" lawyer, one who is not liable to be swept up in the investigation at any moment. Let's see how long it take Mueller to get around to asking Giuliani about the time he went on Faux cackling about the upcoming news about three days before Comey said there were new emails. Or maybe what Giuliani was doing flying over to eastern Europe and talking to certain persons of interest.

(32,635 posts)That's why he'll never be the Attorney General.
During the campaign Giuliani was involved with the Trussia stuff and Cambridge Analytica. He'll be called to testify I'm sure, if he hasn't already been.
ProudLib72
(17,984 posts)One wonders to what degree. I so want him to make a move and have Mueller tell him he is a target. Ghouliani is a very arrogant little turd.

Debbie Wasserman-Schultz = WENDY.
WENDY = STORMY EYES
Ergo: STORMY DANIELS!
No collusion! ABSOLUTELY NO COLLUSION with Stormy Daniels! FAKE NEWS!
Initially, the mind of a paranoid schizophrenic is hard to follow. But once you see how it works it's easy!

.....Imran Awan, a longtime House staffer who worked for more than two dozen Democrats since 2004, is still employed by Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, though his access to the House IT network has been blocked since last week.
At this time we are continuing to gather information from House officials and will determine the best approach to move forward once we have reviewed that information, David Damron, communications director for Wasserman Schultz, said in an email when asked by POLITICO if Awan was still working for the Florida Democrat.
snip
Multiple relatives of Imran Awan, including his wife Hina Alvi, Abid Awan and Jamal Awan all House staffers until recently are also being investigated in connection to the alleged procurement scam, according to a senior House official close to the investigation.
Alvi has worked for more than a dozen House Democrats and the House Democratic Caucus since 2007. At least one member, Rep. Gregory Meeks (D-N.Y.), is still employing her.

(5,954 posts)who were behind all of this stuff. It only makes 'sense' to them.
But the main goal of building this alternative universe is to cast doubt on the idea that the Russians were helping Trump, and point fingers in all sorts of other directions. In their universe, the Russians were actually helping HILLARY (ie-the Steele dossier includes RUSSIAN sources. Nevermind the fact that the Russians who talked to Donald Jr. are doing very well, while the Russians who talked to Christopher Steele are all DEAD now.), it's HILLARY, COMEY, MUELLER, and McCABE who should be indicted, not Trump...and it wasn't the Russians who hacked the DNC server. It was either Seth Rich, Imran Awam, or some disgruntled Bernie supporter.
I mean...heck, Sean Hannity went all the way to London to interview Assange, and Assange said he 'didn't get the hacked emails from a government.' So, there you go! What further proof do you need?
I sometimes make an effort to follow where these alternative thought patterns are coming from. But then I have to stop, because I start to feel like Spock, mind-melding with a ROCK...
"PAIN!!!"

(13,524 posts)peeps who may not quite get where these folks are at...youve compressed the crux of the reasoning behind their stance just perfectly!!
Remember when Beranton J. Whisenant Jr. was apparently murdered in Florida about a year ago? He was a lawyer...and his (very suspicious) death came very soon on the heels of a beloved woman in NYC who was...a lawyer or a judge? She was found floating in the river there?
God, its like twenty years ago...anyway, I think his death was eventually chalked up to suicide (as was the womans), but as I checked around for news of him, I kept running into people saying it was tied up with these Awan brothers and Wasserman-Shultz and terabytes Im like, wut?
Anyway, thank you again for your thoughtful summation of just what the hells going on here!!
On edit - yeah, its all right here: http://www.newsweek.com/whisenant-fake-news-far-right-theory-618744

(5,954 posts)...and that scrambled, incoherent mess of names and nouns is basically a bullet-point list of what they were blathering about on 'The Five.' So, clearly, that's what he was watching during his 'executive time.'
The Five is a panel show where two snarky men, and three silicon-enhanced women bark talking points at each other. Bear in mind that Fox News has literally CREATED an audience of knuckle-dragging troglodytes who are classically conditioned to salivate whenever they hear certain names, or titles of faux scandals shouted at them by Fox hosts.
-Hillary Clinton!!
-George Soros!!
-The Clinton Bought and Paid For Dossier! (Which Hannity shouts at least 20 times per show)
-Debbie Wasserman-Schultz!
-The 'Mom and Pop Server' in a bathroom closet! (referring to Hillary Clinton's email server)
If you're a Fox news host, that's all you have to do these days. Just SHOUT names of people the audience has been CONDITIONED to hate, and titles of faux scandals they've ginned up, and the audience is jumping up and down like those old rallies for Saddam Hussein we used to see.
So, every one of those sentence fragments he strung together is a meaningful PUSH BUTTON for the Fox audience.
Allow me to translate:
Bear in mind that the Fox News THEME for the last year has been to cast doubt on the idea that it was the RUSSIANS who helped Trump by hacking the DNC server, and wildly point to a bunch of other people who might have done it. ie-Seth Rich, or another guy named Imran Awan, who was an IT guy that worked for Debbie Wasserman-Schultz and other Democrats.
1. The DNC SERVER that they refused to give to the FBI: A faux counter-scandal Hannity and the others have been ginning up for months. The idea being that, when the DNC suspected they were being hacked, they could have simply given their server to the FBI to examine, so they could find out WHO had hacked them. But they REFUSED because they KNEW IT WASN'T THE RUSSIANS! They KNEW it was really SETH RICH!!1!!
Poor Seth Rich, of course, was a DNC campaign staffer who was murdered by muggers. But asswipe Hannity peddled a conspiracy theory for months that Rich was actually the one who hacked the DNC server because he was a disgruntled Bernie supporter, and then Hillary Clinton had him whacked. Hard to believe, but that's actually the kind of putrid vomit that Hannity was spewing until Seth Rich's family sued Fox to shut him up.
2. Wendy (Debbi) Wasserman Schultz Servers and the Pakistani mystery man: This translates as a reference to a weird IT guy named Imran Awan who once worked for Wasserman Schultz and other Democrats. Another 'alternate universe' alternative to the Russians as the key hackers.
The Alt-Right really lives in a different universe. But in their universe, all that stuff is part of the alternate reality.

(5,954 posts)Hilarious that all the other TV pundits have been blathering all day about how this will 'probably' never work. And then, out of nowhere, comes little old Joan Walsh (who MSNBC dumped) to say "um... not wanting to interrupt you geniuses from Harvard Law School, but it already HAS worked."
Thanks Joan!
