she's rude, ignorant and is ALWAYS trying to uselessly provoke.
Get rid of her posturing ass.

(5,210 posts)others are way worth watching. IMO. And occasionally I find her comments interesting. Not necessarily likeable, but interesting.

(4,222 posts)Meghan works on my last nerve, however. Earlier in the week she said theyd fillet Comey and Whoopie said no, they would not. Today she tried but did not even garner a scratch. One of my favorite moments was when she said J Edgar Hoover must be rolling over in his grave because Comey has lowered the standards of the FBI. Whoopie and Joy could not stop laughing and suggested Hoover may not be the gold standard in FBI chiefs. She is uneducated, entitled, immature and needs to go home.

(16,334 posts)She's trying the Sarah Palin playbook where she memorizes a few phrases thinking it will make her point for her but the second someone claps back with FACTS, she is at a loss for words.
I LOVE it when Sunny explains something to her like she's a five year old.

(2,434 posts)as a foil and, let's face it, there are no reasonable repukes. It's McCain or another idiot.

(45,120 posts)any journalist or pundit that has interviewed him ever has. McCain is so nasty, I enjoy watching Joy and Woopie put her in her place.

(2,396 posts)I think it's one of the few mainstream broadcast programs (ie, not cable) that openly addresses the injustice and corruption happening in America on a daily basis. Whoopie and Joy don't sugarcoat these issues.
But I do agree that Meghan is a pain. Most of her strident opinions aren't based in fact (although I agreed with her that Arie was the worst Bachelor ever .) She's misusing her platform by failing to give the measured "conservative" views she says she holds (as opposed to the "trumpism" she claims is fracturing her Party. She considers herself and her ilk as outsiders now).
I think she's just got a very hair trigger defense instead of actually listening and thinking things over.
I just watched that clip.
Really Meghan?? HOOVER???

(2,396 posts)She keeps bragging about how right wing he is and I think that she's parroting what she hears at home.

(52,387 posts)it's what producers all look for these days.
they even look for that in "the bachelor" contestants.

(37,428 posts)She may add nothing to the content, but she is a nod to balance and may earn the producers/network some favor in certain quarters. As sinecures go, it was a good match.

(16,995 posts)because she does seem to have changed.
I can remember when it looked like she was going to be the young voice of reason and bipartisan outreach type she seemed to be offering herself up as that type around the times her father was running for higher office. Now shes just straight up Limbaugh lite. Must be the media $$$ in her eyes.

(16,995 posts)I just Googled her wedding and cant believe I missed that news, especially on Daily Mail which I routinely check.
Yes, that pretty much explains her conversion to the inane extremism. Thanks for the info.

(5,914 posts)It's a shame, because I thought she was a semi-reasonable person, as well. I guess not.

(14,971 posts)Why they think they need one is another story. She ought to be more focused on her plagiarizing, having affairs with interns (according to gossip columns), Trump toady husband Ben Domenech of the Federalist.
