General Discussion

that if we dont have the answers we shouldn't be criticizing rump for what he is or isn't doing.
I see that sometimes and it REALLY pisses me off.
My answer to ANY question about what should we do is
A. legally and peacefully remove the Nazi from the WH
B. put in the person who WON the election, Hillary
and then
C. let her decide, I trust her
No, we cant do B, can we. So dont ask ME what we should do. Until we acknowledge how we got here.
Plus the MOTIVE of any person asking this is CLEAR to me.

(9,766 posts)Your solution is not going to happen. And I am in no way implying Trump shouldn't be criticized, but what would an acceptable response be?
Do you have any idea?

(9,766 posts)I agree that working towards competent leadership is important. But decisions are going to be made immediately that can have tremendous impacts.
Is that not worth discussing?

Not sure how you "have no idea what that means" when you follow it up with that sentence. I don't see how the make the connection more clear.

(2,541 posts)As a general rule on any given subject if one is going to criticize an action or lack of action having some plan to put forth as a solution no matter how rudimentary it might be is helpful.

(1,202 posts)you require options and solutions when we don't even know what all the options are.
Trump's lack of knowledge, lack of critical thinking, lack of focus in security briefings, lack of attention, lack of an ability to read reports, review history....makes it almost implausible that he could even make a correct decision on purpose....he may rarely a correct decision by accident, but I have yet to see that happen, so it's infrequency is unlikely to play well in this Syrian scenario. We can therefore presume that to crticize Trump, without coming up with an alternative plan is actually a valid and acceptable response.
