Honestly, his die-hard followers probably have never heard of any stormy or russia news, but now they will.
I predict this is going to be the avelanche that errodes his support into the 20's, where congress can no longer support him or ignore the news.

(13,305 posts)To them it will have nothing to do with Trump. He knew nothing about it. Another frame job by the DemoCRATS.
And on, and on, and on.

Another ignorant post in the same thread. It ignores the "donations in kind" rule that applies to campaigns and appears to not know of the parallel payments from RNC to tRump Org and from tRump Org to Cohen:

(14,565 posts)I was at my aunt's house late this afternoon, helping her with a household matter. She is a Republican. She always has the local affiliate on television in her living room. We watched a bit of it, including the brief mention of the Cohen raid.
She had no reaction at all. She doesn't associate Cohen with Trump. He may be a bad guy but Trump is the one who will save her from rapists crossing the border and gays kissing in the pew in front of her at church.
That's the way the other side thinks. There is no such thing as Trump approval dipping into the 20s.

(32,760 posts)For the longest time I was confused about how they were completely aware of certain issues and oblivious to others. But now I understand that their leaders (media personalities on the radio & Fox News) are the gatekeepers. If one of their leaders talks about it, then they will learn about it. But it will be presented to them from a biased perspective, of course.

(11,760 posts)Have you ever seen video of cult members when they are first "rescued"? Go back and look at old footage of the Manson Family. They were out there parading in the street, holding vigil, and completely oblivious to the horrible crimes that Manson had orchestrated. It took months of intensive effort to "deprogram" Family members. Trump supporters listen to Hannity, Savage, Limbaugh, etc... so I would also suggest, if you can stomach it, that you listen to those shows to see what they are covering (likely not the raid) or if so how they are covering it.
Trump's die hard supporters are likely not hearing about this situation or are already believing that it is part of some conspiracy to destroy his "good work".
I don't see his base shrinking beyond the 30% mark, though I would love to be wrong.

That's why you keep hearing the word "witch hunt" over and over again as well as the invocation of Hillary Clinton. Those are terms that really fire his racist, sexist base up.

(12,160 posts)to him, and I don't foresee a lot of trump devotees abandoning him either.
I watched a documentary on Mussolini the other night. The film footage and photos showing what happened to him were really something.
