1. Probably not. Bill cares about Bill sometimes too much as in boycotts.

Since boycotts can hurt him he is against them period.

I did like the way he stood up to Geraldo, Geraldo has no credibility at this point, he is a disgrace.

Sorry that he doesn't get that boycotts are one of the few weapons we have left since corporate America has taken over broadcast news. Boycotts ARE speech by the people they have silenced.

3. Bill criticizes Geraldo for liking tRump because

“he’s nice to YOU, but he’s mean to someone else.”

In other words, you’re missing the big picture by focussing on how tRump effects you and not everyone else.

Bill then says boycotts - like the one David Hogg launched against Laura Ingraham - are unAmerican because he - Bill Maher - has been the focus of a boycott.

This from the same Bill Maher who constantly criticizes progressives for not adopting the scorched earth strategies of the conservatives when it comes to going after their opponents. Bill says he once lost a job due to a boycott, a boycott one assumes was started by conservatives against him, a boycott that worked - he lost his job. Yet when a 17-year-old takes Bill’s advice and fights fire with fire, it’s suddenly an assault on Laura Ingraham’s free speech rights.

4. Isn't it true that everyone looks at the world

through the prism of their own experiences?
We can disagree on a lot of things, but in the end, I will make my decisions based on what is in my best interest(or those I love, like family). Altruism aside.
