(7,968 posts)knew easily that the guy was killed by Russian operators. They waited long enough for everyone to forget the basic story and then pretended to release the conclusion that he fell down the stairs drunk. They then probably classified all the other stuff.
I'll bet they didn't want the Russians knowning what they knew and this is why they did that. They probably realized that their cover story was obvious bullshit but they expected that it would not make major news by waiting so long and thus it would be relatively back burner recognized only by those tracking events longer term than typical news outlets. Beyond that they didn't care as long as the actual reasons for his death remained classified.

(7,968 posts)it was to distract the US media so they would hit a dead end even though they obviously would know that the beating was a cover story.
Things have worked out exactly as (they've) planned. And the CIA probably has our best interest at heart though we, being us, find it hard to trust them.

(2,279 posts)It seems you aren't allowed to say anything that hints at criticism of Democrats, especially while saying anything supportive of Bernie Sanders.
Sanders supports the progressive ideas that the Democratic Party should embrace. Im a lifelong Democrat too and always vote for the Democrat in elections (though I voted for Sanders in the primary). But many of my posts supporting Sanders and his ideas have been removed for not being supportive of Democrats.
Some people on this site have a crazy hatred of Sanders, its strange and I dont understand it.
