their fear was that they would be mistaken by the swat team as the shooter so their weapons never came out

So far one has resigned/retired, two other deputies were placed on restricted duty while the sheriff's office investigates whether they "could've" or "should've" done more!

Could the remaining officer belong to another agency, other then the Broward County Sheriffs Department?

We've already passed the legislation and it was in effect for a decade, but Bush let it expire, so just vote to renew it.

Republicans are so eager to spend money training and equipping teachers and paying them a bonus to double as armed security guards, instead, fund a buyback program to take some of those weapons off the street.
