My 7th grader - everything is shocking - just said this to me
"What were you talking about?"
"Human rights violations. Everyone EVERYONE had an example from our country"
"Like what?"
"Well ____ brought up unlawful detention"
"And you"
"Well I brought up Dr. King and his arrests though he was peacefully protesting. I just added to what ____ said"
"Any other comments?"
"Oh yeah but I can't remember all of them but they were all about our country"
It's an International Baccalaureate program. Public school.
No idea how that kid crawled out of this gene pool.
