That is part of the Republican M.O. Accuse your opposition of what you do, especially so that when you are caught it will be diluted and get your team to think that everyone does it so if you are caught it's OK in a way. It is done to purposefully sow confusion.

Trump's treason is going to be exposed front and center soon. He is getting ahead of it by equating treason with not clapping. He is deliberately changing the meaning of the word so that when he is shown to be a traitor his followers will believe it was only as bad as not clapping.

Case in point - this morning Devin Nunes accused Democrats of colluding with the White House to undermine the Mueller investigation. Really??? That comment of his does not even make any sense. But now that it is out there by him, it won't seem as bad to his fellow Deplorables when he is exposed. Doesn't matter if what he says makes sense or not. He has to get the idea projected out there so it won't seem so bad when he is exposed.

So when I hear that Hilary Clinton was connected with a child sex ring, it makes me 100% certain that Trump was running an underage sex ring. When Trump says Hillary Clinton colluded with Russia, I know he did it. When the GOP accuses Democrats of trying to hurt Americans, I know they are trying to hurt Americans.
