General Discussion

It is not a big deal as most know here. I was kicked off once because they asked for proper ID. If you look at their rules it has to be something "official" like a driver license, social security card, passport ID, etc. I told them they were fucking insane if they thought I would send that to them. I did send them a secret agent card I made up but somehow that did not work.
So now I was kicked off because I called someone an asshole. Actually I called them an ignoranus which made them both stupid and an asshole. I did so because I posted something about Obama and how good he was and how much those who didn't support him were racist. This ignoranus pops up and says I am stupid for saying that to which I naturally said exactly what he is, an ignoranus. Next thing I know I am kicked off again. I wrote FB telling them I was sorry for not being a boot licking right winged Russian sack of testicles like they are but I just could not be that stupid. They haven't responded to my reasoning, again...

(6,941 posts)have never had to provide ID. Also, do not insult strangers but that is because they will hound you endlessly. I do not respond when they insult me, which happens fairly often.

(26,061 posts)Most of our activism involves Facebook events.
Our groups are closed.
When I post, I only post to closed groups. Or if it is something with broad appeal, I only share it with my friends. I'm not friends with any right-wingers. I also can block certain friends from seeing my posts.
People get in trouble on FB when they:
Post to public (meaning the entire world)
Have RW friends on FB
Post on politicians FB pages. (I do now and then, but I keep to the facts at hand. So far, no one has bothered me)
Try to "convert" RWers on FB.
there are so many fun things on facebook. i'm just not made of stern enough stuff to put up with the negativity and intrusive things about fb.

(34,242 posts)The rules say you get one account, and you have to use the name you use in real life. Many of the accusations area against trans individuals because they may have two accounts (one in their dead name for friends not in the know) and one in the name they use, or the name they use may be completely unrelated to their official documentation.
As long as you are not "disruptive," and don't become the target of someone, they don't request ID. Once you're on their radar - you generally can't recover the account without proving you are using the name you generally go by.

I told someone it would be a horrible person that would force a woman to carry a child to term that had no hope of living more than a few hours and I was kicked off a week.
I want to go back to myspace.

(10,190 posts)I kept getting thrown off for a month at a time during the campaign. Turns out I had some bot accounts on my friend's list. Once they were purged, the reports stopped.

Sarchasm is another - the gap between someone capable of biting wit and someone too stupid to get it.

Good Christian people fear and proscribe him.
Fortunately I've never been that kind of good Christian.
