There IS collusion. Mueller's retaining a cyber expert is one indication.
The question is whether there is a conspiracy...

(51,762 posts)money laundering and collusion! Most is unprecedented territory (as far as the constitution applies) for a sitting American President, especially a fake prez and a crazy moron. The founding fathers didn't have ESP and didn't prepare for it. Especially a Congress who will throw the constitution out of the window to further their own agenda instead of representing the citizens and protecting the country.

(22,060 posts)Even vote tallies were altered. DU was brought down the day they did it.
BigmanPigman
(51,762 posts)that collusion and conspiracy are pretty much the same at this point. I do not know the US constitutional law so I can't say if that is accurate or not.

(24,877 posts)And have thought this from the beginning. Vote totals too suspicious.
Even more - I think our IC and leading Congress persons know, dont want to publicize because it will be too disruptive.

(15,683 posts)or gets side stepped in any way, then they will see disruption. I will lose it. And others like me will lose it. And I'm one of the calmer of us. They don't want to see how pissed and disruptive we can get.
Btw, there's a very big part of me that agrees with you.

Even Obama knew about the trump-Russia allegations and didnt disclose. Everyone thought HRC would win and this would open the door to substantiating trumps charges of rigging the election.
To be fair, Obama ales McConnell to go public with him to defuse the rights reaction, and turtle man declined. I hope he looks good in orange.

(54,182 posts)The electoral college should definitely go and maybe, just maybe, look at a parliamentary system with multiple parties forming coalitions to form a government.
And when there is no confidence in the government an early election can be held.
There are gaps in our present system that don't provide for getting rid of not just a non-stable president but a complicit, corrupt majority party in control of everything.

I am glad they are trashing the current Trump and GOP nonsense, but don't trust them not to return to their right wing home base of they can get rid of Trump and Trumpsters in the party.
Trump and his enablers could not be where they are doing what they do it the GOP had not played dirty, divisive politics for so many decades.

Today Malcolm was reassuring Stephanie Miller that if the whole thing is shut down the info Mueller has, the dirt, would be released and that would be devastating for trump and the cons who are traitors (I used the word traitor, not Malcolm).
But I am not sure I want to rely on that info getting released, who would do it?
lagomorph777
(30,613 posts)Mueller has surely set a dead-man switch that will release the Kraken on every Republican in town, if he is removed. The new cyber guy might help him "oil the mechanism" of that switch.

(4,030 posts)I've been telling my one friend who will tolerate my ranting, that in the end, the forensic audit of the Data Trail will be what exposes Team Trumps' treasonous collusion.
The Russians needed US Data partners in order to pull off their influence campaigns, and they found a few in Cambridge Analytica, Kusher, Bannon etc.
Remember the server in Trump Tower communicating with one bank in Russia? (LINK source = Snopes)
