It's nestled between two towering Norwegian mountains, a few hours west of Oslo.
Snow slowly falls on the surrounding peaks and frozen waterfalls glisten in the weak afternoon twilight, while far below on the valley floor the lights of the town twinkle.
The landscape has long inspired mythical tales of trolls it looks like something straight out of a fairytale.
But, according to a local artist, this tiny picturesque place has long had a big problem.

(10,904 posts)he ought to try dressing for the weather. No hat, nothing around the neck, sheesh. It was 21 deg F today in the Twin Cities, and we think we're having a heat wave.

I used to live in Darwin (way up north, not too far from the equator). I'd complain about the cold when it dropped below 25C (77F).
