Trump bid them to come to Camp David.
They went, but their body language said they would rather be somewhere else.
What did they really talk about?
In my opinion, Trump was notified that the House and Senate were watching him very closely, in the event that Mike Pence had to take over the presidency?
It appeared to get the attention of Trump. He seemed more subdued and "stable" than usual. They also informed him that Mueller was going to continue his investigation, in my opinion.
After the uncomfortable meeting, Trump walked out ahead of them. He appeared to be holding in the rage.

Of course they are likely just thinking over the newest ways they are going to screw us over but......a girl can dream right?

(14,552 posts)Camp David, with the lure of donuts and hookers. His pissed look is they lied about the donuts.
Then they gave him a dressing down, which never works with Donnie 2 scoops. In 3 days the meds they slipped him will have worn off and he will be back to his old self.

I'm sure it was an interesting intervention, with trump unable to admit his dementia. That's the nature of dementia, after all. That's why the tweets, symptoms of dementia.

(3,335 posts)didn't get the impression you did "that they were watching him closely". In fact, based on the things that went down in the last couple of days with the House Committees, Nunes and the FBI, I would have to say at this point that it looks like "Trump's Winning!!" The rest of the GOP look like the bunch of pussies they are.

(3,335 posts)their favor. They are putting the pieces in order to fire Mueller and I don't think anyone's going to do anything to stop it. No one's going to ride in on a white horse and rescue us from another 3 years of Trump TV. I'm so depressed, but I think I'm coming around to that 4th stage of the grieving process that they call Acceptance. Yesterday, I took a step backwards, back to the Anger stage as everything seems to be going their way, and I don't think my blood pressure can keep dealing with the fact that the entire GOP party has sold out this country to the Russians for a Dumbass in the White House and a TAX CUT.

(2,187 posts)Unless states go back to paper ballots (all of them),the next election results may not be what we're all thinking they'll be. I can't pin my hopes on ousting all republiCONS in November cause if Russia doesn't want that, it can hack in and change vote totals anyways, just like last election!
