And he helped crash the economy and pay off the banks.
But I agree, Bush was not on the same level of mean, vicious, sadistic Trump.

Also explains why he's so callous towards the less fortunate in our nation. Doesn't give a rat's ass what happens to people.

(19,201 posts)They're not going to believe a word of this. The only play this will get on FAUX Noise is the part about Bannon. They're certainly not going to cover the Murdoch or Ailes parts of the book. The Trump-cult was feverishly planning their dis-information and propaganda campaign the minute they heard of this. No doubt the talking points have already been established and are being put into practice as we speak.
This won't change one cult member's mind about St. Trump, patron saint of hopeless morons.

(19,201 posts)An ever increasing majority, I may add. The hopeless morons belonging to the Trump cult will never have the "basic judgement,
intelligence and a sense of right vs wrong". Either they're abjectly ignorant, or just too damned stubborn and proud to admit they've been duped.

(291 posts)I have no words. I had an argument about a week ago (maybe more) with the daughter of a childhood friend on Facebook. She said and I quote Trump was appointed by God. I blew a gasket, I mean to the point I cracked the block. Lord have mercy, I remember when that child was born! Okay I talked to god and he said "man you can't pin this shit on me!"

He really, truly despises women, and wants to degrade them. And he fears and hates the ones who are smarter than he is and too strong to fall for his manipulations. Those women really need to be ground into the dirt.

(8,574 posts)I thought you might have missed that what the poster quoted was from the book, and was not an editorial comnent by the poster, who if you will notice, was not me. I commented, acting on the good faith belief that you misunderstood the comment because you missed seeing that remark on the page in the OP. I was not interested in further conversation, just in clearing up a potential misunderstanding. Instead, you want to make some weird ass remark that i don't even pretend to get about my using n/t when I didn't have more to say, as if It's some indicator to your discerning eye - of what I don't know or care.

(47,209 posts)On previous reports- that Wolff has peppered this book with made up quotes. Id say the anon quotes are most likely crap as happens with this writer. Im just hoping he does have tapes and notes for the crucial things in the book- the treason quote, things that matter a lot now. The gossip about Clinton is to appeal to a wider audience- the National Enquirer theyre all the same crowd.

(8,574 posts)Because we have manners. Have you heard of them? I could introduce you to some, if you're interested. In the meantime, your quirky opinions aside, the comment may have been ridiculous, but it was a quote from the page pictured on the OP, so it was not of "dubious" origin, and was within the perimeters of the thread subject.
bettyellen
(47,209 posts)Of lying RW gossip monger who appears to have collaborated w Bannon and Trump to write this piece of shit book. The page pictured above, is just a jpg- not its actual source. So quoting it without commentary says something to me. Not interested if you glean nothing more than its a .jpg, so what.
Also its parameters, not perimeters- which only works if you think text boxes are sources, LOL. Well, enough geometry for today!
Glad I could introduce YOU to some new words and their meanings. Also, maybe look up manners again, because snarky nonsense is nowhere to be found.

(90,686 posts)I'd like to know who that "friend" was (possibly made up out of Bannon's drunken musings?).
I would't put any credence into what Bannon has to say about any Democrat whatsoever, since he has built his career on savaging everything and everyone to the left of Atilla the Hun.

No doubt he got burned from something similar in the past, but no one really cared about the possession in the first place, there is always a newer model to take its place.

(291 posts)As far as asking what kind of person would fall for this I have a story. When I was young my Dad had an affair with a woman and eventually got married. At that time my mother was at home taking care of five kids. I met the woman like I think once. She was the reason my parents divorced. When I became older I would ask myself "what kind of person would do that?" Guess what, people fall for it-no kidding. I always thought it would like being approached by some gruesome old man who would say "Hi honey I have the Bubonic plague, how about a kiss!" Because to me a wife and five kids at home is like having the Bubonic plague. People like that are out there!!!! Really!!!
