Here's something I discovered about using insect repellent.
I don't like the way most insect repellent sprays feel on my skin. It also seems like much of the spray doesn't make it to the intended target area and the overspray can actually damage some surfaces that it lands on. The repellents in the towelettes are convenient to use, but they are much more expensive.

I have come up with an alternative that has been working for me. Spray a small amount of your favorite repellent on a baby wipe and use that to distribute it onto your skin. It cuts the greasy feel, you get more even coverage, you can use it on your neck and face area and you use less repellent overall. I haven't tried it yet on the grandkids, but I'll bet it would make it a lot easier to keep them protected, also.

1. That sounds like a good idea.
I rarely use repellents unless I am in a really bad area, but I have gotten to where I use lotions now. But I am willing to try this. Thanks.
