Letterman called Donald Trump a racist tonight.

I was just watching Letterman and he had Dr. Phil on. I was only half listening so I don't know how the conversation started, but Dave started saying he thought Trump was a racist (because of the birther shit). He asked Dr. Phil if he thought he was a racist and he said he didn't. Then Dave was saying he wouldn't particularly want Trump on his show because he's racist. Then he found out that Trump is scheduled for the show in the near future and he wasn't happy about it. I wonder if anything will come of this.

How can Dr. Phil claim Trump is not racist and treat his vile remarks as if they were cute and funny. He needs to ask Oprah if it's funny. I think I'll get an email off to her! I think we all should.

BTW...if you are on Twitter...follow DumpDTrump. They have had some success in getting sponsors to pull from the apprentice.

It continued with Dave addressing a woman who worked for the show (I forget who she was), finding out that Trump is indeed booked on the show in the near future and talking about that.

He was like a dog with a bone. He wouldn't let go, got Dr. Phil to admit that these were
racist statements, and then gave Phil grief for not calling Trump a racist as a result.

It was Dave at his best.

Trump is to appear on the show May 17 (or thereabouts). It will be brutal.
