Edited on Thu Apr-07-11 11:19 AM by Stinky The Clown
If you do, then you see, first hand, what is wrong with this country.

I'm not talking about repubicans. They're bad enough. But the teabaggers are truly off the chart.

edit to change "of" to "or" in the title.

is hated by the neighborhood, and keeps getting his "Don't tread on me" flag stolen.

5. My father-in-law
Retired in FL, has a small business that is hurting for money and is a proud birther and Alan West supporter. Posts the wildest anti Obama rants on his facebook page, which is like watching a Glenn Beck clone train wreck.

6. Yes, and he is completely out of his mind.
He blamed Michael Jackson's death on Obama. He said Obama killed Jackson because he was a more famous black man. When the Deep Horizon went down, he said Obama blew it up. It was supposed to be some kind of plot to nationalize our oil. He also says Obama is a member of Al Qaeda and is going to turn us all into Muslims or throw us into concentration camps. He is constantly saying things like this with a straight face and gets rather exited and upset when you question him and tell him he's wrong.

7. my brother is the worst. can barely even be around him anymore. it's sad
my sister works for the irs... he says, i love her but, she should be out of a job. the problem as i see it is that spending on things like roads and bridges and schools and stuff for regular folks has been trimmed and trimmed and cut back so that when you have pot holes in the road and the schools can't keep up and then local cities and towns and schools have to raise taxes and cut things that you just feel like you aren't getting your money's worth. unfortunately instead of pointing to the real culprits, the rich not paying their share, they see this as big government coming to steal our money and think just getting rid of the government will fix everything. this is possible thanks to years of propaganda and false corporate 'news'. and then anyone who says any different is evil and you can't even listen to them. so when faux lies, then rachel maddow calling them out with things like facts have no effect because they won't even listen to anything anyone has to say unless glen beck says it's ok. it's very sad. they are standing on the branch and cutting off the limb and not realizing they are going to go down with the branch.

8. Yes, the local organizer lives in the neighborhood. Every time she's in a public place,
she's always talking VERY loudly on her cell phone about "this tea party" and that protest and whatever...

Store clerks literally (I mean that) cringe when they see her coming. I cannot emphasize that enough--they cringe and damn near run and hide if they can.

21. Ha! Ha! My neighbor too
He hangs out the TB flag, mows his lawn every other day and criticizes those who don't do that, shoots at the deer who even come near his yard, uses weed killers near my bedroom window (but on his property) so I have to keep my windows closed in the summer, calls the county to "report" people in the neighborhood, etc.

if he didn't have other people's business to get into, he might have to realize what an asshole he is.

10. When Beck finally loses his show for good
it's going to let all the (hot) air out of their tires. He's the one who's whipping these morons into a frothing frenzy.

Limbaugh was too restrained for them.

Beck will still have his radio show, at least short term. His idiots are going to be lost without his stupid blackboard, though.

12. I am DROWNING in TeaKKKLanners
Everyone in my very large family (except me, my mother, and a cousin). Most of the people I work with. Everyone in my small town. They are fundies, racists, homophobes, anti-intellectuals. They hate everyone and everything who isn't white, christian, and stupid. Most of 'em don't even talk to me anymore, which I greatly appreciate. I fixed the ones at work who left "Come to Jesus or you'll burn in Hell" pamphlets on my desk, and who were saying they couldn't work with our new, gay co-worker. Reported 'em to the Office of Institutional Equity here. Before I knew it, there were no more Biblical sayings posted on cube walls, no more scripture in work email signature lines, no more "gays should turn or burn" conversations in the breakroom. And definately no more church lit left on my desk (I am an athiest, I don't discuss it at work, but I guess when you're the only one NOT talking non-stop about church activities, even morons can figure it out). All of them hate hate hate the govt., even though members of their families are receiving bennies. They went ballistic over health care reform, even though it would really make their lives better. You can't cure stupid.

What terrifies me is there seems to be no way to get through to these people. They won't admit they're wrong. They won't budge an inch. Can this country carry on when the population is so polarized? Crap, my own brother thinks the only purpose of a govt is to field armies and wage wars. He used to be smart. I just stare at him and say WTF????

14. I had them swarming around me a year ago..
"Off the chart" is about a good an explanation as you can come up with.

They came in by the bus load, and some of us tried to have a conversation with them, because they were outsiders coming into our admittedly conservative community..but it was scary how disconnected from reality they were

I don't know if they are being brainwashed..but if you have ever watch Bachmann on TV when people try to interview her and get her to answer questions about outright lies she has told..she looks straight ahead and goes onto another tirade.

I am beginning to wonder if pods have not been put out and these are not aliens..(facetious of course, but there is no dealing with them)

It is actually very unsettling trying to talk to them.. they are unreachable

Four of my five much younger sisters, admire and adore the grifter. We do not speak anymore as I am not a faux news fan, or maybe it was the way I called Scamity and Colmes moronic propagandists and liars. I don't believe they knew the meaning of propaganda anymore than they understand evil 'socialism'.

Who ever knows for sure with such a heinous mental illness as Mad Tea Party Hatter Disease. Or is that Mad Party Tea Hatter Disease?

16. Also surrounded by them, feel like puttin' my foot in their asses but
wouldn't want to soil my shoe.

They are among the most deliberately ignorant, backwards, selfish, poorest or better-off-than-mostest bunch of assholes-sometimes-jesus-freaks I've ever seen in my life.

Then we have the klan-wannabes-or-could-bes who just hate the black guy. Too dumb to notice the only color that matters in this shitty world is green.

My town = Home to Teabagging Queen Renee Elmers.

17. My brother-in-law.
Teabagger, Beckerhead, Birther...He's a white male who's been able to find work easily even though he never went to college and he makes a decent paycheck, yet he thinks that he's discrimintated against because he's not a minority.

Mostly, I think he's just really angry, and even he doesn't know why.

she would be a great president. A couple of others who are addicted to OxyRush.

Go figure.

Worked with another guy in Texas who had all of the teabagger talking points down. He told me the government was going to start telling you what you could go to college for. :wtf:
