1. I expected them to move in quite quickly. Take a look at Egypt.

The Muslim Brotherhood went very fast from "not being involved and not wanting to run the government" to getting the voters to vote "yes" on constitutional changes that the protesters did NOT want. They also went from being illegal to being allowed as a legitimate political party. Every Muslim nation that rebels will fall to Sharia the same way.
After that, they will never be allowed to protest again. They will all be Iran.

Them Al-Qaeda fellas probably have their own AK's and RPG's and know how to run a ground operation like this better than the rebel militia.

I say welcome aboard! Sign them up! 3 squares and a cot and all the ammo they can blow up.
