Meet Fred Karger: He's the first official entrant in the race for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination. He's also openly gay, a proud feminist, pro-same sex marriage, pro-abortion-rights, and a critic of Sarah Palin who thinks many Republicans are hypocrites.

"There is no place for hatred and bigotry in this country," Karger said Wednesday in a statement. "I want to be a participant and help shape the debate in the Republican Party and our nation."

3. The only remotely rational explanation is they come from a long line of
republicans. Gay republicans need awake everyday thanking democrats for being the stout barrier between them and purgatory. Gay republicans party would not just disown them, it would likely burn them on stakes if given free reign for that action.

6. How can anyone trust a gay Republican?
Edited on Thu Mar-24-11 08:02 PM by walldude
Seriously. Think about what the Republicans think of gays. Sinners. Morally bankrupt. Destroying society. And those are the nice things. Then we move onto "homosexuals are an abomination" "vile" "shameful" "disgusting" all words I have heard from the mouths of Republicans talking about gays. I've also heard many a Republican say that all gays are pedophiles.

It must take a truly deep sense of self loathing to try to belong to a group that calls you a pedophile and an abomination.
