I came home from being in Madison on Sat and scanned through the news coverage I had taped Sun morning.
Minneapolis Local News and the National morning news shows gave barely if any coverage of the 150,000 protesters in Madison, and gave only a mention of the 14 Senators who came back.

I did not see any mention of the other speakers, or the Tractorcade of over 40 tractors and 100's of farmers marching.

Please share the articles and Youtube video's of Sat's protests to your friends, relatives, and co-workers and to your local news stations and legislatures.

Here are some that are already on DU. But YouTube has so many incredible images, speeches.etc.

1. It's so much easier to control the story around a dozen or so politicians
and give an illusion of news, than it is to actually get network owners and producers to actually cover the news.

5. More news coverage about the approximately zero people who died in Japan from the nuclear problems
When perhaps 100,000 have been killed by the earthquake and tsunami.

Madison? Meh.

6. news networks cut into their Japan coverage with reports on Charlie Sheen and Michele Bachmann but
couldn't find a few minutes to report on the massive protest in Wisconsin.
