A few minutes ago, her co-anchor, who has an accent so that of course makes HIM erudite :sarcasm: was doing the 'teaser' of a piece about the disasters captured on video. whitfield was laughing and smiling the entire time as he was recounting the series of catastrophes which had been registered, and the lives lost, property damaged, etc. The inappropriate affect was striking...

Does she think she's anchoring a Dean Martin Roast?

There are very few serious newscasters. The rest of them are much too casual and chatty for serious stories. Someone in management evidently thinks that's what their audience wants to see.

Maybe because it's Saturday, Fredericka thought no one was really watching. Why do some of these people pursue careers in news?
