Cablegate: All 250.000 Cables Leaked to Paper (NOT bound by restrictions). Get the Truth now
Edited on Wed Dec-22-10 09:51 AM by kpete
The daily Dagens Næringsliv reports that the cables have been leaked to Aftenposten without WikiLeaks’/Assange’s approval.

Thus, Aftenposten is not bound by the agreement that covers publication by The Guardian, Le Monde, El Pais, the New York Times and Der Spiegel. Those papers have signed a confidentiality agreement, under which they may only publicize cables when WikiLeaks has explicitly agreed to the publication. Also, the said newspapers have apparently selected the cables that are published by WikiLeaks.:

..................
ENGLISH TRANSLATION:

Website Wikileaks has published thousands of secret stamped documents. The latest leak is comprised of documents from the U.S. Foreign Service. Aftenposten has no clauses have access to all the 250,000 documents from the last leak.

The next days, weeks and months we will go through the massive material, and continuously publish news stories both online and paper.

To make our review more efficient, we would like tips from our readers.

2. K & R
If there is information the world needs to know, I'd rather that Julian not be able to sit on it until it suits his interest to release it.

Put it out there and be done with it.

3. It would be nice if we knew how many cables were related to what subjects...
So we could ask for more information. The blind hey do they say anything about X, is rather inefficient.
