is CSPAN3 or al-Jazeera anywhere on DirecTv?

I was excited when I heard that DirecTv was finally going to carry Free Speech TV, several months ago. Then I was in turn disappointed when I found out that, in order to receive channel 348, you have to subscribe to HD programming, even though FSTV isn't even broadcast in HiDef. :shrug:

Is CSPAN3 on there anywhere? I know it's not snuggled in there with 1 and 2 (channels 350 and 351). With the receiver I have (SD), there's still the potential to have something like 10,000 channels, so it can be hard to find stuff. (I don't mean you could actually receive that many channels, but that the channel numbers go that high.)

And I would also like to get al-Jazeera. Are they on anywhere on DirecTV? Either on the SD or HD service?

1. Sometimes it is on Linktv

Link is on 375 on my HD receiver. Sorry just inactivated my last SD receiver 2weeks ago.

2. LinkTV has sometimes carried the feed of alJazeera

Very sporadically. And seemingly without rhyme or reason. I'm wondering if there is a dedicated channel for either of the networks that I mentioned, on DirecTV. Thanks for the reply. :hi:

3. Free Speech TV is also carrying Al Jazeera at times and is on DirecTV now too...

Though you need an HD enabled setup to get it.
