Think about it - back in the later days at MSNBC, they tried to shitcan him over his donations to various Democratic candidates, and thanks to our uproar, he got off with a two-day suspension and was back on the air.

If we weren't there making huge amounts of noise, he would have been fired, and worse, he would have been obligated by the terms of his contract to stay off the air, off the radio, off the Internet, for years.

The corporate masters wanted Keith in the memory hole, but instead, Keith was liberated.

Because we were there for him, yes, he still ended up leaving MSNBC, but what happened was that he and his lawyers negotiated better terms - terms that allowed him to start his new gig at CurrentTV, and start his new blog at http://foknewschannel.com/ (It's live! Go there now!)
