Gov. Brewer is in talks with Chinese government officials.

The Governor, finding she can not balance her state's budget, has been in talks with the Chinese government for the last month.
The leaks coming out of these talks is that she is thinking of selling Arizona to the Chinese. It is thought this is a better course of action than filing for bankruptcy. It is unclear at this time if she would still be a governor or would be a general of the new Chinese province.

Pluses for the new province would be that the Chinese are great at running prisons and are very good at guarding their borders. Two things Arizona finds that are in high demand in her state.

It is unclear if the citizens would be able to have dual citizenship or if they would be the New Chinese.
