Voting in the republican primary
Yes I'm getting a republican ballot in the Illinois primary. Mostly because of the redistricting, there are 2 republicans running for the seat in our district and the incumbent is a teabagging piece of shit....while it's possible this other guy is just as bad, I want this current asshole OUT! (Where I live it's RED HELL so there's probably not even going to be a Democrat in the race that even has a chance)

1. I can identify with that, here in NE NY...
Often local candidates run uncontested and they're the winners of the Republican primary. We finally managed to elect a Democrat (Kirsten Gillibrand :) ) from the district (NY-20) to Congress in 2006 after decades of Republican representation (John Sweeney x( ). When she was appointed senator, she endorsed a Democrat to fill her seat and he won by a whisker. I worked on his campaigns, great guy. But he lost last year to a teabagger. It's very discouraging. ;( :pals:
