Walker claims Wisconsinites act like Ohioans...
Walker Claims Recall Petition Circulators Are Being Paid
Groups Say Those Gathering Signatures Not Being Paid

MADISON, Wis. -- Gov. Scott Walker has been repeating a claim lately that he believes organizers will force a recall election because some recall petition circulators are being paid.

<snip>
"I've assumed all along that between activists and paid circulators, if they paid enough people they'd ultimately be able to get that number," said Walker in an interview.
<snip>

<snip> if he had proof of any recall circulators being brought in from out of out of state or paid to gather signatures.

"I haven't talked to any of the circulators, not at all," said Walker. "My assertion was that if they did what they did in Ohio, which was they paid circulators along with activists and they got close to a million there in a state about twice our size, if they do that, they'd be more than likely to get enough to get on the ballot."

Classic conservative thinking there Scotty, no evidence is needed for the assertion of your fear because you KNOW that everyone not on your side is one of the monolithic THEM. The same very THEM that put down Ohio SB-5 which was suprisingly the very same ALEC stuff you pushed onto US.

Next we'll act like Ohio-ans when we vote to kick his sorry 1%-worshipping butt to the curb and start cleaning up the mess he's made.

This guy just lives in his own world doesn't he? First the recall "wasn't his fault," now this. In Walkerstan, nothing is ever his fault, everyone loves him, and anything that does go wrong is a massive out-of-state conspiracy against him. I can't wait for reality to catch up and bite him in the butt.

This is the first I have heard of any person being paid to collect signatures! What is this shit stain talking about. When they are losing they will lie, they are pathetic!

8. Who would take his place, would there be an election or would the
Lt. Governor finish out his term?

12. We are trying to recall both the Gov and Lt Gov
The Lt Gov is a Palin clone, even was a news reader on local teevee.

I don't think even the R's would want her as the actual governor, but the Koch brothers might, and here in the land of sky blue water, that's 97% of what matters to the r's.

5. I sure hope WI acts like OH! The Buckeyes did the right thing!
They looked their jackass Governor in the eye and said, "Fuck You!" Hopefully, we'll do the same.

7. Of course. When has Scott Walker been reality based?
The closest he comes to 'facts' is when he says 'tax' and that's only because they rhyme.

11. Typical Republican projection: They're the ones who couldn't get a hundred signatures
without paying people to mislead citizens into signing something they don't agree with.

15. If it was republicans trying to recall a Democrat, they'd be paying
That's what this is about. Repukes constantly accuse Democrats of bad behavior Repukes engage in.

17. Walker's got nothing, and he knows he's gonna be recalled
Edited on Thu Dec-08-11 01:12 PM by HereSince1628
So for his own warped self-esteem he's got to invent something that he believes will somehow look bad to someone.

In the cold hours of Wisconsin nights, he'll take comfort in that, much like a 13 month old in a favorite flannel blankie.
