Cenk starts on Current tonight at 7pm eastern.

I had pretty much given up on Cable media, so the watching Cenk will be easy for me. Then I can roll right into Keith at 8pm eastern.

If you have current in your cable line up, please watch Cenk @ 7pm eastern and then Keith @ 8pm eastern. They are real voices for liberals. And imho, our best place for information. I'm going to support them!

11. My criteria for watching political shows

The host(s) must have a deep understanding of history and politics. Neither Cenk nor KO meet that criteria. Cenk is a former Republican who doesn't appear to have any clue of how government works. Also, his shrill attitude belongs on Fox News.

If KO were still on MSNBC, I'd probably check out his show from time to time, as I think he's a talented performer/ talking head. But at the end of the day, KO doesn't have the knowledge base that Rachel and Lawrence O'Donnell, or even Tweety have. And I still can't get over the fact that he didn't 't bother to vote in 2008.

14. Ok. But I pretty much think the opposite. Tweety is a twit. Lawrence is a moderate bore.

But I do like Rachel, however I don't think she delves deeply enough into the issues with both parties.

But I do like her politics.

Why? Larry O'Donnell annoys the hell out of me, and he did before any of you ever heard of him. Can not bear his style. He is on occasion very good in his opinions. Other times, he's just a centrist trying to work both sides of the room. This trait of his was evident in his show biz 'career' which you might note is done. Worked both sides of that room as well.
Still, I'm happy his show is there for those who like that moderate, 1%er sort of outlook on life, whatever talking points are 'what we believe' today.
It is also interesting how man people here are upset that Cenk is a former Republican who also seem fine with having so many current Republicans in our Democratic administration. So it is alright to have Republican Sec of Defense, yet a reformed Republican, now a Democrat, on a TV show is an issue for you? Seems like odd priorities to me.

Caught a bit of them during major news stories.

But prior, I was a huge cable news viewer.

If I catch something now, it's usually via youtube when it's posted here at DU.

So watching Cenk and Keith more often will be a bit different for me. I do think they are different and much more liberal. I'm going to support that.

25. I liked Cenk until he said "I love Capitalism"... that was the end.

I am staunchly against Capitalism and any form of it. Reformists make me sick.

He sounds like his mouth is always full of spit, too. Not that I'm poking fun. It just annoys me.

I'll stick to independent media like Democracy NOW, Citizen Radio, etc.

But at 7 p.m., I watch Issues with Jane Veldez-Mitchell on HLN. She is a lady after my own heart. She is a feminist, a vegetarian and an animal rights advocate.
