Anarchy Or Heroism - If You Didn't See Harry's Law Last Night You Missed A Good One.......
Harry's Law was great last night. One of the cases they defended was that of a lady that robbed a bank after she lost her home. Watch the closing arguments in this clip here:

This clip is only a sample of what went on in that courtroom. If you can watch the whole episode. Great writing and great acting.

1. I didn't know that show was back on. Is this a rerun, or new?

7. I thought it was fantastic!
I, of course, agreed with the defense.

The whole episode put a HUMAN face on the current financial "situation." I'm at the same bank (building) I've been at for years, originally Rainier Bank, then WaMu, and now Chase. Anytime one of the "suits" approaches me I cringe, because I know they are going to try to separate me from some more of my $$$.

The story-line about high school football was really good. I knew about the dangers of blows to the head among the pros, but it hadn't occurred to me that it started much younger. As much as I love football, something needs to be done.

West Wing had a lot of episodes dealing with topical issues...I hope Harry's Law has more shows like this.

8. It's on my list for "On Demand" watching this
week-end already. They've been replaying it on Sat. nights and I got used to that and saw too late that it's not on Sat. so on my list.

9. Didn't They Do A Show Almost Exactly Like This One Earlier?
I gave up on this show because I simply found it way too unrealistic. But in the first few episodes, I remember a case with an elderly black woman who robbed a liquor store or a convenience store or something like that because she had her income cut off and had no money to eat. This was one of the shows that strained the bounds of credibility too far for my liking (along with the very first episode) and caused me to give up on it. I'm a lawyer and I love lawyer shows ("The Practice," "Boston Legal," "L.A. Law," et al.), but I can't stand it when the writers make the hero unbeatable. It's not realistic.
