The Republicans really, really hate the Postal Service: it's a government entity that serves everyone rich or poor, rural or urban, does the job cheaply and efficiently. It also offers good jobs at good wages to many, many people. For years, working for the Post Office was an entry into the Middle Class for many people, especially African Americans.

Now, you may have noticed that like me, you are being deluged with credit card offers. Instead of tossing them, mail back the envelopes. Not only will you keep Wall Street busy opening the envelope, but you will increase revenue for the Postal Service. It's a win-win!
