Tomorrow another day, another occupy
yet it is different.

You see, many of the locals at my local occupy are vets. They answered the call when uncle sam called. Whether they did such 'cause their number came up, or they did because they needed the cash, or they just did... don't matter.

Tomorrow wil be a day when they face another day in them streets. I get to come home, after taking notes of their stories, and writing down what they do and how they live. I can tell you this, they want more than the streets. And in a few cases they are still over there.

So please, remember them.

I listen to them... some talk of o'er there, some are stoically silent.

Some still have that haunted set of eyes, that comes from having seen too much when too young.

And there is one thing I can tell you... they grew up too fast.

In a way I am honored to meet them... they remind me that we can do far better in this country... much better.

1. Beautiful post.
Obama is starting a program to advocate for employing veterans, but many of these young men have such psychological pain that it will be a while before they can go back to work. Occupy movements are perfect for them because the movement listens.

I was not a psychologist, but I counseled people who were angry, and people who were in pain, and their overriding need in most cases was to be heard. We do not listen to real people nearly enough.

OWS is a chance to turn off the TV and listen to real people for a change.
