Oh shit.....There's another one...Report: Cain sought dinner date with fifth woman
Edited on Mon Nov-07-11 11:46 PM by one_voice
A former USAID worker claims Herman Cain asked her to set up dinner with a woman who attended a speech he gave in 2002, the Washington Examiner is reporting tonight.

The worker - 40-year-old Donna Donella, of Arlington - told the paper that the moment came after Cain gave a paid speech in Egypt that year. A woman in the crowd posed a query to Cain during the speech, the Examiner said.

Donella told them “And after the seminar was over, Cain came over to me and a colleague and said, ‘Could you put me in touch with that lovely young lady who asked the question, so I can give her a more thorough answer over dinner?’”

She was "suspicious of Cain's motives and delined to set up the date," the Examiner reporter wrote.

2. Have we seen or heard anything from Mrs. Cain?
I think it's odd that she isn't speaking up or at least being seen with him at all.

Sexual predator....that's what's forming as a profile.

One ok, it happens. Five we see pattern.

And not justifying one, just saying that ths is far more serious.

9. I think this part of the article is important too..
She said she didn't witness any "inappropriate sexual behavior" at the group dinner. But she claimed he asked the waiter for two $400 bottles of wine, and then stiffed the rest of the group when it came time to pay.

23. The interesting part is, the Washington Examiner is a right wing paper.
It's owned by conservative billionaire Philip Anschutz, who also owns the Weekly Standard.

4. This one is kind of silly
There's a big difference between asking someone to have dinner and asking someone to have a "snack" (if you know what I mean)

10. Probably not...
but it does make you wonder why these women would call into question his intentions. What made them uncomfortable? Did they hear things about how he treated women, was it that he was married?

11. "Donella said she felt it was important to describe her encounter with Cain..."
"after hearing more serious allegations of sexual harassment brought by other women." (emphasis added)

12. It's not the allegations, it's watching him lose his sh!t under pressure
Very telling, and this is a minor league feeding frenzy.
Imagine when he's pulling the strings of the world!
(I know, I know, perish the thought!)

But, that's what I'm getting out of this, whether the allegations are true or not.
More evidence that Herman Cain cannot stand pressure, even in small amounts.

Then again, 'his' campaign...or 'this' Koch Brothers constructed campaign, I should say... never had a snowball's chance.
The Kocks must have seen that. Which begs the question, why the Kochs bothered. What did they really hope to gain out of this?

17. I bet the press conference tomorrow is to introduce us to Mrs. Cain.
Tonight he told O'Reilly he would not talk about it anymore. But, there is a presser tomorrow. So, I'm thinking Mrs. Cain will stand by her man.

18. This one is silly.
Asking to be setup with a woman for a dinner date is not sexual harassment.

Yeah the guy is a womanizer who had no qualms about cheating on his wife. It is not sexual harassment, however. How is it any different from Clinton getting a BJ?

The sexual harassment charges are one thing; this "incident" on the other hand is not important.
