Where Alred appears, a circus follows. The allegations against Cain need to be taken seriously.... Alred may be well intentioned (or not), but where she ends up involved, the press rapidly turns the issue into one highly questionable in credibility.

Cain had other ideas -- which this woman will describe.

Two other friends -- including a physician -- have confirmed in written statements that she told them at the time that Mr. Cain had been aggressive with her.

She was terminated after meeting Cain, and her boyfriend the pediatrician suggested she call Mr. Cain for help.

Everyone knows you can never expect anyone to take a woman at her word about these things. Her failure to talk about it at the time would be interpreted somehow as evidence of her making it up for far too many people.
