Condi Rice: Cheney Told Us We'd Been Poisoned and Would Die
So Condi is on a media tour for her new book, and during interviews, has recalled a time when she and Bush thought they'd been poisoned with botulinum toxin and were going to die.

It was right after 9/11 when the two were traveling to China. Apparently Cheney broke the news to them - he was the one that said they would die if exposed to the toxin (when Condi tells it, she chuckles a little over the Cheney part). She gives no details on just exactly HOW they may have been exposed; how it was discovered; just that they had to wait for 24 hours to find out. And it was so scary, wondering if they'd live or die! BTW - botulinum toxin is treatable with an anti-toxin and adjuncts if caught early.

I'm so sick of these people and while I won't wish death on them, wish they'd disappear forever. Sick of them still continuing to use 9/11 and fear every chance they get.

Sorry Condi, we're not going to forgive the Bush Admin's war crimes no matter what you say. GO AWAY or better yet, GO TO JAIL.

2. I may not wish them dead but to quote Mark Twain
"I have read many an obituary with great enjoyment"

8. Chances are good
that if you try to 'enjoy that obituary' when its time comes around, you'll get scolded soundly by the self-appointed morality police. Can't even practice the time-honored tradition of grave-dancing when ya feel like it anymore!

11. I hear ya!
I still say what's on my mind when I believe it's deserved - scolds be damned - and I can't think of anyone else at the moment more deserving of having his grave 'well-watered' when the time comes 'round.

24. As a part-time musician, I have to admit
that as much as I don't like Rice, even I wouldn't wish that kind of catastrophe on her. The very thought of not being able to make music anymore is devastating to anyone who plays music

30. Give a thought to the hundreds and hundreds of young Americans
who will never make any kind of music because their entire lives were crushed by this sociopath and her cohorts.

Being unable to play the piano is miniscule punishment compared to what she deserves, imo.

4. Cheney is the ultimate coward
The man is afraid of his own shadow. Bunkers, only hand selected crowds at press conferences, draft evasion, take your pick. He has exhibited true cowardess in every aspect of his life. He is a pitiful excuse for a human being. I truly think he would grab a child as a human shield if confronted with violence (if he's allowed around children).

I could see Cheney doing that to freak out Bush and Condi for a laugh. He's such an evil (and cowardly) bastard.

25. Maybe it reflects a little wishful thinking
If this had actually come to pass, he would have received a promotion, or at least the title to go with the power.

5. Dang, Big Dick just loves scaring the crap out of people.
I thought he only did that to the American public to grease the way into war, but apparently he also pulled that stuff on folks within the administration.

10. Sick fuck
Sociopathic monster. I bet his sneer went halfway up his cheek as he chuckled menacingly to himself over scaring the bejeezus out of those two...assuming the story is true, that is. It's hard for 'normal' people to fathom the depths of depravity that enable someone - especially someone in a position of such raw power and influence - to joke about deadly threats, especially personal ones that seem plausible at the time. Serious pathology there, boyo!

12. Just confirms my long-held hypothesis that Cheney is
a walking mass of botulinum toxin.

That, or Condi's come up with a clever story to explain a hospital stay in China after receiving some cheap asian Botox.

16. "The mice are feet down." - what Hadley told Rice to let her know they were ok.
Rice relayed the info to Bush and he said "That is a good thing."
Funny stuff.

17. Yeh, apparently Shrub, like the media, doesn't ask follow-up questions
Like,

* After the test negative results, Dick, where did your intel come from, what systems, what people?!1

* Why, oh, why is the f***ing vice pResident the FIRST one to get crucial/critical information?!1

* Did you MAKE IT UP, Dick, hoping that at least SOME of your rivals just might keel over from the shock, due to whatever health problem THEY might have?!1

22. A reasonable person would have drawn a conclusion from this ...
... that Cheney is not to be trusted as a source of information. It's too bad neither Bush nor Rice was able to think for themselves, or even check another source.

23. Good grief, Cheney
I wouldn't be surprised if he just told them that for meanness. The man is the personification of evil. Not that Bush and Rice don't deserve whatever scorn is heaped upon them, as well.
